Decide your goal

Decide Your Goal

Yesterday I revealed the goals I decided from my past, in the present, and for the future.

Today, let’s review “Decide Your Goal” from the Mindset Map (PDF) and all you need to do.

First, take a moment to look off into the distance. Try not to get distracted by the opposite sex, or whatever sex, you’re attracted to.

In fact, don’t even pay attention to your surroundings. Instead, cast your gaze far off into the future.

Do you see it? Right there, at the very end?

It’s called death. It’s inevitable. And, it’s going to come sooner or later no matter what you try to do to avoid it.

From this moment until that moment (the dreaded d-word), what is it you want to do with your life before then?

Take your first trip to a foreign country?

Save up X amount of money to buy Y?

Explore the Middles East?

Master a second language?

Get married to a super model?

(Wanna read some of my weird goals from my personal bucket list? Go here.)

Whatever it is you want to achieve before death prevents you from achieving it, decide your goal.

I’m not sure what else to tell you really. Give yourself something to work toward, to wake up for in the morning, to brag to your stupid older sibling who, throughout all those years of intensive pre-medical training, said it was all just a waste of time and you should of gotten a real job, like a real man, and earned money the old fashion way, and not try to use your brain, because you don’t know how to use, that he’s wrong! (*Awkward*)

So…. That’s all there is to do.

Wait! No. You should probably decide on WHEN you will achieve that goal. Otherwise, you’re just going to procrastinate and wait until tomorrow to get it done. Or, maybe you’ll do it the next day. Uhh…. perhaps…. not at all….

YOUR GOAL IS…

???

TO BE ACHIEVED BY…

DD/MM/YYYY

Overcome Your Struggles & Achieve Your Goals:

O.K., that’s all. Let’s shift gears tomorrow and look at creating milestones to make achievin those goals more realistic.

Until then!
